RENAMON, Rika's Digimon
I watched Digimon Tamers on a German TV channel (RTL2) and Renamon was made into a MALE there. I'm used to her being a he but I try to refer to Renamon as a she, since I think it was a bad move turning such a strong female character into a male for no logical reason (especially since they both digivolve to Sakuyamon who is then suddenly female). All this aside, Renamon is Rika's fox-like Digimon partner on a Rookie level who found Rika because she wanted to be partnered with the strongest Tamer there is. Like Rika she appears cold and wants to get stronger but she is more mature.

About: Tamers and their Digimon defeat the D-Reaper and suddenly the Digimon are 'de-digivolving' to their In-Training form. Renamon turns to Viximon.

About: Rika's Digimon partner who is trying to please Rika and get stronger to digivolve in the beginning. Later she becomes Rika's friend not just killing machine.

About: Rika thinks Renamon can survive without her help and she leaves her Digimon. But in the end of the episode Renamon is in danger and Rika saves her from evil Harppymon. To stop Harppymon from hurting Rika, Renamon digivolves to Kyuubimon.

First Appearance: Digimon Tamers, Episode 18 (Digital Beauty)
About: Devas are attacking the real world and Kyuubimon finally digivolves to Taomon. In the end of the episode Rika tells Taomon that she looks beautiful in the moonlight.

About: Matrix Evolution of Rika and Renamon. D-Reaper's bubbles are treating to destroy the DigiWorld. Cyberdramon stops the bubbles for some time but Rika knows they will evetually be free and destroy the DigiWorld. She throws herself in the bubbles and Renamon follows her. Together they digivolve to Sakuyamon.
