The translation is taken from Onkei, thank you:)
[Drama CD] Digimon Tamers: Original Story, Message in the Packet is a CD-story about our Tamers one year after the last episode of Digimon Tamers. Takato and the others have just entered a new school year, which places the story somewhere between April and May ((a new school year in Japan starts in April & children of the age of 12 go from elementary school to junior high school - Click here for more info.))
Henry discoveres a way to send their Digimon a voice message and invites the Tamers to record it. Everybody is happy about it but Rika, who doubts Renamon would ever get the message. In the end though she too decides to send it.
I've only published those parts of the story here that contain any info on Rika and Ryo's relationship, the whole tracks can be found on Onkei's page or over here.
RYUKI IN 'MESSAGE IN THE PACKET'
Part of Track 10: From Ryo to Cyberdramon /Ryoo kara Saibadramon e/
Track 11: Rika and Ryo /Ruki to Ryoo/
Part of Track 14: Once again, Takato, Henry and Rika /Futatabi Takato, Jian, soshite Ruki/
Part of Track 15: From Rika to Renamon /Ruki kara Renamon e/
This is a part of Track 10, Ryo's message to Cyberdramon. Click here for the whole one.
Ryo tells Cyberdramon how he still plays the Digimon card-game and remembers the time when they first met. It was after a certain tournament ...
The girl is not named but there is no doubt he's talking about Rika, he even laughs after mentioning here. This is important because it confirms that they DID play against eachother and that Rika lost. Plus it's cute how he talks about her in his message to Cyberdramon.
This here is the full Track 11 and I've put the interesting parts of it in bold text.

RUKI
W-What's your problem?
RYO
Yo, Ruki.
RUKI
R-Ryo?! What are you doing here?
RYO
I'm here for a Digimon Card Tournament exhibition. You're not coming to them anymore.
RUKI
I've already graduated.
RYO
[chuckles] Well, I guess it can't be helped since you're a girl.
RUKI
That has nothing to do with it!!
RYO
[cringe] Sorry, sorry. You were always strong in stuff that didn't concern gender anyway.
RUKI
Did you just show up in front of me so you could prattle about old times?
RYO
I see you haven't changed. We haven't seen each other in so long. It won't hurt to be pleasant once in awhile.
RUKI
[sigh] You're the one who hasn't changed. [giggle]
RYO
I got a text message from Jian on my cell.
RUKI
Eh?
RYO
I just finished recording my message at Jian's place.
...I heard from him that you were against sending a message to Renamon.
RUKI
What does it matter? Just go ahead and send them, it has nothing to do with me.
RYO
But...
RUKI
Besides, I can't agree with this! I had to separate from Renamon, and not being able to see her again...
RYO
You don't know that.
RUKI
Then when can I see her? Tomorrow? A week later? The day after tomorrow? In ten years? When?!
RYO
T-That's why... everyone's researching on the Digimon and the Digital World... even Jian...
RUKI
This is absurd!
((RUKI runs off.))
RYO
Ruki! Wait!
RYO
Ruki...
We learn that Rika is not coming to the tournaments anymore, which is probably one of the reasons the two don't see eachother very often (Ryo does live in Kyushu).
Although he annoys her at first - by pulling her headphones off (which I really like, it really suits Ryo's character toward her, he does it to annoy her and probably wouldn't do it to anyone else) - she actually giggles at the whole thing later.
He stops joking with her when he tells her that he heard she doesn't want to send a message to Renamon. He sure likes to tease her but he always knows when to get serious. She gets upset and runs away and he tries to stop her and gets sad and concirned when he fails to do it.
This is a pretty short track but we get to see all their relationship dynamics in it. He teases her, she's annoyed, they make fun of eachother and she leaves him worried in the end. :D
This is only a small part of Track 14; Rika changes her mind about the recording. Click here for the whole one.
Takato thinks Rika changed her mind after meeting Ryo. It seems that Takato thinks Ryo has a special influence on her.
Sparkling Teeth is Rika's sarcastic nickname for Ryo, which she first uses in episode 28 (Jpn). More about the nickname here.
This is only a small part of Track 15; Rika's message to Renamon. Click here for the whole one.
Rika's message to Renamon is the last track on this Drama CD and it's also the longest. She tells Renamon that she feels lost and doesn't really know what she wants to do in her life (she even stopped playing Digimon cards because she doesn't feel like fighting anymore). She goes from feeling desperate to being more determined towards the end of her message, when she decides it's time to do her best in life. She doesn't want to say goodbye to Renamon because she finally feels they will definitely meet again - because they're family. They're all family - even Ryo. He's even a bit more stressed than the others, since she calls him by his nickname, calls him last and makes a longer pause before mentioning him. The pacing goes something like this:
Takato and Jian, /little break/ Hirokazu, /little break/ Kenta, /little break/ Shaochung, /little break/ Juri ... /longer break/ and /little break/ even Sparkling Teeth!
She says his nickname in a way that feels like she doesn't really want to include him but knows she has to because he too is part of the family.
