A girl with brown hair and a ponytail entered a hall, hardly holding four bottles of coke. She was really surprised, when she saw how crowded it suddenly got. She left the place fifteen minutes ago to get them something to drink and she got really annoyed when she saw that the crowd was actually surrounding a table in the back of the hall. She knew exactly what was going on and she was angry to had missed the duel.
'Rika!!!' somebody in the crowd yelled her name. It was Kenta.
'What's going on!??' she yelled back and made a few steps forward to the crowd to get closer to the whole action.
Kenta surged to her to tell her what was going on.
'It's Ryo against that tall guy .. Seems like he's losing!'
'What? Who? The tall guy??'
'No, Ryo!'
'No way!!' Rika pushed some people away and tried to get to the table. I knew Ryo was playing but I never expected him to lose to anyone else but me! That can't happen!!
She finally got to the table, some people let her through because she was still the Digimon Queen. She totally forgot about Kenta, who wasn't so lucky and couldn't get to the scene.
'Oh hey, you!' Ryo said to Rika. 'Didn't you go to get some drinks?'
Rika didn't even notice when it happened, but the four bottles she bought earlier weren't in her hands anymore.
'Concentrate on the game, stupid.'
It really seemed like Ryo had some serious problems. His life points were almost gone and he only had a bunch of monsters on the field. Ryo looked calm though. Rika asked Kazu, who was biting his nails in excitement, to tell her about the part of the duel she missed. Kazu told her exactly what happened and she listened carefully.
'... and so he attacked the guy's face down monster and-'
'Wait a second! Which Digimon did he sacrifice again?'
'You know, that useless champion level ..'
Rika started to laugh. I see what you're doing there, Ryo. That's a cheap trick from the King.
As if he could read her thoughts, Ryo smiled at her showing all of his teeth. Rika knew exactly how the duel will end and she decided to leave Kazu and the table. She first helped Kenta to get there and then she went to the store again and bought new bottles of coke. She came back just in time. The crowd was yelling in excitement, she saw Kazu and Kenta jumping and hugging and she knew she was right.

'I feel sorry for that tall guy,' Kenta said with his mouth full of pizza.
'You don't have to, he'd win if I didn't call Imperialdramon,' Ryo said and swallowed his piece.
'It was so obvious when you sacrificed Stingmon for Ikkakumon. I knew something wasn't right,' Rika said.
'Yeah, I thought it was kinda obvious too but it worked. I reached the semi-finals!'
'As if this was a big surprise,' Rika rolled her eyes. She was also a semi-finalist and she wanted the cup. She knew she'd have to play against Ryo to get it but she was confident. The problem was, that Ryo was confident too.
'I wish we'd come to the semi-finals too,' Kazu sighed.
'Why are you complaining, Kazu. You won the first three duels, I only won one,' Kenta said.
'Don't worry guys. I can show you some tricks and you can beat other duelers tomorrow for fun!'
'That's awesome, Ryo!!' Kazu yelled and a piece of chewed pizza fall out of his mouth.
'That's disguisting!' Rika screwed up her face.

Rika, Kazu and Kenta went to Kyushu to participate in a Digimon card game tournament. It wasn't just a normal tournament, people from all parts of Japan came there to play cards and get the cup. There were so many people that the whole tournament lasted for a week. Rika, Kazu and Kenta wanted to stay in a hotel with all the other players but Ryo invited them to stay at his house. Rika wasn't very pleased about that because she needed a whole room for herself to make up strategies and concentrate on the cards. The idea of sharing a room with Kazu and Kenta didn't make her really happy. That's why Ryo let her have his own room, put Kazu and Kenta in the living room and he went to his father's bedroom. His father was out of town for business and the four of them were the only ones in the appartement.

'If you used this one, than I could pretend to waste a round with .. this one ... No, this one .. And in three rounds .. if you saw through me then I'd still have my ... you ..' Rika was sitting on Ryo's bed talking to her imaginary opponent. She was thinking about several strategies to destroy the tomorrow's opponents but she wasn't quite sure, if Ryo could be destroyed with this kind of tricks. Speaking of Ryo, somebody knocked on the door and Ryo came in before Rika could invited him in.
'Are you crazy? I didn't invite you in, what if I was getting dressed??'
'Are you crazy? Now that you mentioned that, I'll never even knock on your door again! he giggled and she rolled her eyes. She took the cards from the bed, so that he could sit down.
'So, did you find a way to win against me?' he asked her when he sat down.
'Oh I didn't have to think about that for too long, I can see right through you, King wannabe!'
Ryo laughed:'Oh do you ...' He leaned forward to her so that their faces were almost touching and whispered:'... King's Queen?'
Rika gave him an evil look and jumped of the bed. 'What do you want here?'
Ryo stretched his body and stood up next to her. 'I just wanted to ask you what you'd like to eat. Kazu and Kenta voted for pizza ... again ... sooo?'
'We've been eating pizza for the whole week! Are they pizzaholics or something?? I don't care what they'll eat, I want something else today .. Order chinese for me. ... Please,' she said and pushed him out of her (well, his) room.
'Kitchen in thirty minutes!' he yelled back at her, when she closed the door.
She put the cards on the bed again and tried to come up with some more strategies but Ryo's close face kept coming into her mind. She cleared her throat and took one of her cards. 'Blue eyes ...' Suddenly she shrieked and threw the card on the floor, as if it was poisoned.
'What's wrong with you, Rika?!' she asked herself and picked up the card. 'Blue power card,' she read the card's real name and Ryo's face came to her head again. With his blue eyes.

In exactly thirty minutes Rika joined the three boys in the kitchen. Kazu and Kenta's eyes shone when they saw Ryo carrying their pizza. Rika chinese food was already on the table.
'What did you get me?' she asked him and pointed her finger to the table.
'I got us mongolian beef with rice!' Ryo said and Kazu pulled the pizza from him.
'You'll eat chinese too??' she asked him.
'Yeah, the portions are too big for a g- .. for yoouu, so I thought we could share one!'
'Did you just want to say a girl?' Rika asked him and gave him a look that couldn't mean anything good.
'Noo! Well .. yeah, but!! You're a skinny girl, that's what I meant!! Wha-what are you doing with my food???'
'This girl is really hungry. I'll eat in my room. No, wait. I'll eat everything in my room,' she said and left the kitchen.
'You screwed it up, man,' Kazu said with his full mouth.
'Oh she'll be fine. I'm just thinking about what I should eat now ...' Ryo said and turned around to Kazu and Kenta but they weren't there anymore. 'Oh c'mon, it's still my house!!'

*knock* *knock*
'Come-'
Ryo didn't wait for Rika's answer and entered the room. Again.
'Ryooo! Pleease!'
'I'm sorry, it's just so weird if you have to knock on your own door!'
'Get used to it! We'll only be here for a few days, you'll survive.'
Ryo saw an empty plate on the floor. 'You really ate it all??'
'Of course I did, Ryo.'
'Nice job! Rika, I .. I'm sorry, I hope you didn't resent me for saying you were a girl ...'
'What? Do you know how weird that just sounded??' she said and couldn't stop her smile.
'Yeah, I guess,' he giggled.
'We're even. I ate your lunch.'
He sat down onto the bad next to her. 'Nice to hear that. I think that Kazu just lost a bet against Kenta.'
'Did they really bet on me eating the food or not??' Rika rolled her eyes.
'Not really .. Kazu said that you'll get all angry at me and attack me, when I'd come here!'
'I can still do that, you know??' she said and grabed a pillow.
'I hoped you would. You're cute when you're angry!' he said and stood up. He avoied the flying pillow and wished her good night. Rika's heart went wild when he left the room and she threw one of the pillows to the wall.
'Stop it, you stupid heart!' she yelled at her body and punched her chest. 'Why is he doing this to me ..?'
She lied down with her eyes wide open but a second later she stood up in excitement.
'Oh I know now what you're trying to do, Ryo, but I'm telling you this now - you will not succed!'
